Hive to Jar

A transparent journey from hive to jar.

We believe the best honey is the kind you can trace. Every step below is designed to protect the bees, preserve the honey, and keep the story of each jar completely transparent.

Beehives in a wildflower field
Step 01

The Hive

It starts in carefully tended hives across British wildflower meadows. Our beekeepers place each hive where the bees can forage freely on native flowers.

Beekeeper checking the hives
Step 02

Tending the Bees

Our beekeepers check frames, monitor colony health and let the bees do what they do best, turning nectar into pure, raw honey.

Honey being harvested
Step 03

Harvesting

We extract honey with traditional methods, which hasn't changed much in over a century, removing the wax cappings to reveal the honey beneath. Then, we place the frames in a centrifuge and spin for about 10 minutes, preserving the honey's natural values.

Gently warming honey
Step 04

Gently Warming

Our honey is gently warmed below 40 degrees Celsius, a standard and common practice among beekeepers to make it more manageable while preserving its natural qualities. High heat is a no for us; it destroys the beneficial components.

Honey lab testing
Step 05

Lab Testing

Each batch is sent to Minerva Scientific for C4 sugar analysis and purity testing, so every jar is free from added sugars and artificial ingredients.

Labelling a honey jar
Step 06

Labelling

Every jar is labelled with the country of origin for full transparency so you know exactly where your honey is from. Single origin, never blended.

From hive to jar, the honey reaches your home pure, traceable and delicious, made the way honey should be.
